About
Elera Capital Partners (ECP) is an active investment firm with an entrepreneurial focus on growth capital investments in IT and Technology businesses. The geographical focus is predominantly the Nordics.
The Firm was founded by Torgrim and Max, two long-standing tech executives with significant investment experience with a clear vision to accelerate the creation of winning businesses together with ambitious teams.

Max started his career in management consulting at McKinsey and went on to work in Private Equity for several years, helping companies such as Helly Hansen and Lindorff accelerate their growth. Following this, he joined a cloud storage start-up as their first CFO, upon Northzone Venture’s investment in the company.
Max then joined Infront, a leading European financial technology company as their CFO, where he was responsible for growing the business internationally from EUR 20 million to more than EUR 120 million in revenues, and raising more than EUR 250 million in equity and debt. During his career as CFO, he has experienced the highs and lows of scaling a successful business. Max has also started two businesses himself and is an active angel investor in tech businesses.

Torgrim learned the meaning of true grit and determination during his three years of active duty as an officer in the Norwegian Special Forces (FSK). Subsequently, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company for nearly seven years, managing corporate finance related projects for clients across Europe and the USA. For the last 10+ years he has been in executive positions of leading IT & Tech companies, serving the last six years as CEO of Crayon Group (a publicly listed, global software & digitalization expert). During his term in Crayon, revenue increased 7x to EUR 2bn as the share price increased 22x to EUR 1.5bn, and he accomplished more 15 acquisitions and raised more than EUR 250m in bond and equity instruments.
